I would personally like to thank the St. Anthony police force from protecting me and other cyclists and motorists this morning from the cyclist who was the only person on his bike, was wearing his helmet, was not talking on a cell phone, and appeared to have properly inflated tires, but whose stop was apparently not a full and complete enough stop at the stop sign that no other traffic or pedestrians were at. I’m sure he had no idea about the story channel 5 “news” ran the previous week and it was very gracious of you to recount this hard-hitting piece of journalism for his safety and the safety of others around him. Although not a resident of St. Anthony, I’m glad to see the return I am getting for my state tax dollars through local aid to municipalities. It is clearly well worth it.
Sincerely,
Another Cyclist on Stinson
